Join a small and enthusiastic team in a family run business.
This position is an office-based sales and customer support role within the company’s Farm Support Team. Full training will be given. The focus will be helping to maintain customer orders for our bedding, slurry inoculant and silage additive ranges, all made here at EnviroSystems. You will answer incoming enquiries and make outgoing calls for prospecting, as well as looking after our regular customers and it will involve the occasional farm visit. As you’ll be speaking to farmers a general interest in/ or knowledge of farming will be helpful.
Qualifications / Skills required
- Use the CRM database to retain existing business and turn prospects into customers
- Answer the phones and look after regular bedding customers and follow up product deliveries
- Organise own time to achieve the greatest number of meaningful calls with prospects/ existing customers
- Communicate effectively with the Operations team (both office-based and production site) to ensure sales are balanced with production
- Update/ upkeep records
- Contribute to a strong customer-centric culture in pursuit of collective sales team expectations
- Participate actively in sales meetings and teleconferences
- Work to deadlines
- Enhance the company’s good name with everyone

EnviroSystems is an ambitious family-run business, based in the Lancashire countryside near Preston. With a strong reputation for delivering innovative products to farmers over the last twenty years, our products are based on natural and waste-reduction principles in contrast to chemical approaches often seen in agriculture. We’re very customer-centred and see ourselves ‘on the side’ of farmers and the land/animals they serve.
We have a wide distribution and customer base across the UK including two self-run production facilities in Lancashire: one for small-scale products (including biological additives) and one for large-scale animal bedding production for sale to the local area. In addition, we partners with other farm-run operations in Devon and Gloucestershire for local distribution of animal bedding.
