Some moments in business feel bigger than they look on the surface — and for us at EnviroSystems, seeing EnviroBed® proudly displayed on the side of an artic lorry for the very first time is one of them.
After almost 25 years of producing our EnviroBed paper livestock bedding and delivering it to farms across the UK, finally having cows on EnviroBed rolling down the motorway is a milestone for us here at EnviroSystems.
Firstly, a huge thank you to Fenland Hauliers, who brought this vision to life. Their team went above and beyond to get the very first EnviroBed trailer wrapped and ready for the road, and it means the world to everyone here.
Why This Moment Matters
When Liz Russell founded EnviroSystems back in 2001, she started with a simple idea: to create a clean, comfortable, sustainable livestock bedding that farmers could rely on. EnviroBed® was developed on farms, with farmers, through years of listening, adjusting, trialling, and refining.
So when we saw EnviroBed bedding — the product at the heart of our family business — displayed on a full-sized artic for the first time, it was like being in a dream!
