We’re delighted to announce that EnviroSystems has been shortlisted for a series of prestigious national and regional awards — a fantastic recognition of our commitment to sustainable farming solutions, innovation, and business excellence.
At the National Women in Agriculture Awards, we are proud to be named one of four finalists in the Business of the Year category.
Founded by Liz Russell in 2001, EnviroSystems has grown steadily over the past two decades, driven by a diverse and dedicated team — including a strong contingent of women who continue to lead and shape the business.
We’re also finalists in three categories at the North West Family Business Awards 2025:
- Agri-Business of the Year
- The Green Award
- Manufacturing Excellence
These awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of family-run businesses across the region, with organisers reporting a record number of entries this year. Judges praised the exceptionally high quality of submissions.
EnviroSystems is best known for EnviroBed — our sustainable livestock bedding made from 100% recycled paper crumble. Dried to 95% dry matter using renewable heat, it provides dairy farmers with a hygienic, low-carbon alternative to traditional bedding. The product’s innovative development earned us a Queen’s Award for Enterprise, and we remain proud of the difference it continues to make on farms across the UK.
